Common questions

Before you enroll

No prior healthcare experience is required for our Certified Nursing Assistant program; you will need to meet standard requirements such as a background check and health screening. Our Home Health Aide and Restorative Nursing Assistant courses are advanced options that require an active CNA certification and a current BLS card.
Yes. Our AHA Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support courses are open to nurses, EMTs, caregivers, and anyone who needs a current certification card, independent of our CNA or HHA programs.
Use the enrollment form and select "CNA Continuing Education," or call us at (916) 544-1256. Our 6 CEU session counts toward the in-service hours active CNAs need to keep their certification current.
