No prior healthcare experience is required for our Certified Nursing Assistant program. You will need to meet standard enrollment requirements such as a background check and health screening, which our admissions team will walk you through.
Both are advanced courses for working professionals. You must hold an active California CNA certification and a current BLS card before enrolling in either course.
Certified Nursing Assistant is $1,500, Home Health Aide is $575, AHA Basic Life Support is $79, AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is $209, Restorative Nursing Assistant is $250, and CNA Continuing Education (6 CEUs) is $50. See our full course list for details.
Yes. Our AHA Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support courses are open to nurses, EMTs, caregivers, and anyone who needs a current certification card, independent of our CNA or HHA programs.
A current AHA BLS Provider certification is typically recommended before starting ACLS. Call our admissions team if you are unsure whether you meet the prerequisites.
Yes. An active California CNA certification and a current BLS card are required for our Restorative Nursing Assistant course.
Use the enrollment form and select CNA Continuing Education, or call us at (916) 544-1256. Our 6 CEU session counts toward the in-service hours active CNAs need to keep their certification current.
