When you submit our enrollment form, call, email, or visit us in person, you may give us information such as your name, phone number, email address, program of interest, preferred start date, and any message you include.

If you enroll in a program, our admissions and instructional staff may collect additional information required for your certification, such as proof of identity, background check results, immunization or health screening records, and attendance and completion records. This information is collected directly as part of enrollment, not through this website, and is used only to administer your enrollment and meet state and certifying body requirements.

Like most websites, our web server automatically records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and basic site administration. This site serves all typefaces from our own server, so viewing our pages sends no font requests to third parties. To understand which pages are useful, we count page views with a first-party, cookie-free method that records only the page address and a general device size (phone, tablet, or desktop); it stores no IP addresses and shares nothing with third parties. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

To keep our enrollment form free of automated spam, submissions pass through anti-spam checks that include a short human-verification question, hidden trap fields, and a short-term, hashed record of your connection's IP address used for rate limiting. These records are used only for security, are not linked to your enrollment file, and expire automatically within one hour.

2. How we use your information

• Meet legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements that apply to our programs

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share enrollment and certification information with the California CNA registry, the American Heart Association, or other certifying bodies, as required to process your certification. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate this website or our school, such as our hosting provider and the delivery service that transmits our confirmation text messages, who are required to protect your information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Nura Care Institute, our students, or others.

4. Data retention

We keep enrollment form submissions and related communications for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, or, if you enroll, for as long as required to maintain your student and certification records under applicable state requirements.

5. Security, health information, and HIPAA

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. This website is served over an encrypted connection (SSL), and our page view counting is cookie free and stores no IP addresses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

As a healthcare training program, we take the privacy standards of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) seriously. Health related enrollment records, such as immunization and health screening documentation, are handled in line with HIPAA privacy principles: collected only as required for certification, stored securely, accessed only by staff who need them, and never sold or shared for marketing. Any patient information our students encounter at clinical sites is protected under the clinical facility's HIPAA policies, and HIPAA compliant handling of patient information is part of the curriculum every student is trained and evaluated on.

6. Children's privacy

Our programs and this website are intended for adults seeking healthcare certification training. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your choices and rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have about you, request a correction, or request that we delete information you submitted through this website. Some information related to an active or completed certification may need to be retained to comply with state or certifying body requirements.
